Inspect service connections

Understand storage networking, Logic Apps dependencies, and Foundry configuration.

Storage accounts

Open Storage to compare account SKU, access tier, and Data Lake labels. Select an account to inspect public access, HTTPS/TLS, firewall ranges, selected networks, trusted-service exceptions, and private endpoints.

View containers and services lists container, share, queue, and table names where supported. It does not read their contents. Refresh reads ARM configuration and related Resource Graph inventory; recent service names can lag.

Logic Apps

The connection report summarizes API connections, VNet integration, and runtime storage access. For larger inventories, use Copy CSV; the overview diagram appears when there are at most 24 apps.

The inspector separates internet inbound access, private inbound access, the app, outbound VNet integration, and runtime storage. Identity describes authentication, not a network hop. View workflows and connections opens workflow names and the written connection details.

Foundry

Open Foundry to find Azure AI resources, Azure OpenAI accounts, hubs, and projects. Select a resource for its model deployments, public-access configuration, identity, and private endpoints. This view inspects configuration; it does not invoke a model.

Limits of these views

Connection lines reflect reported configuration, not a connectivity test. Incomplete reads are marked. These views do not fetch storage contents, Logic App run history, or resource keys. Use Azure’s diagnostic tools for live traffic and data-plane access checks.
